I am working with a well established company who are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team!

The role

You will be working within the Finance team assisting with the following tasks:

  • Entering receipts onto the system

  • Cash receipt and invoice allocation in sales ledger

  • Drafting Invoices, issuing in the system and to clients

  • Banking of cheque receipts

  • Bank account reconciliations

  • Dealing with multi-currency transactions

  • Maintaining Sales ledger reconciliations

  • Completing all month end tasks in a timely and accurate manner

  • Assist Management Accountants with month end reconciliation

  • Assisting the Financial Controller as and when required

What you need to be successful

You will have experience of working in a finance department within a professional services environment along with a positive attitude and proactive approach. You will also have:

  • AAT qualified or similar

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (including pivot tables and V-look ups)

  • Experience of sage 300 ERP (desirable)

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Accurate record keeping

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Willingness to support colleagues and offer help

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible when required
