Accounts Payable Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk - £22,000 - £24,000 - Marlow

An established national business, with an incredible reputation, based in the heart of Marlow.

The role

Reporting into the finance manager, the Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk will aid the business from within the finance function for purchase ledger and cash book. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your current finance knowledge as well as learn and develop new skills.

The duties of the Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk will include but are not limited to:

  • Accurate processing of purchase invoices

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries

  • Cash posting and reconciliation of bank accounts

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Management of cash flow forecasts

  • Assisting the finance manager with month end/ year end processing

  • Any other Ad-hoc duties as requested by the finance manager

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous experience of Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable

  • Previous experience of (high volume invoice processing)

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Proficient Microsoft Excel Skills (V look ups & pivot tables)
