Accounts Payable Manager - £35000 - £42000 - 6 Month FTC - East Oxford

My international client requires an Accounts Payable Team Leader for a period of 6 months. This is a fantastic role working in a fun, fast paced environment. The role has a good chance of going permanent for the right candidate.

Key Duties:

  • Co-ordination and management of team their activities and their workloads

  • To complete monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations

  • Hold regular 1:1's and team meetings

  • To ensure the team process all supplier invoices in a quick and efficient manner

  • Report Monthly on AP KPI's

  • Produce Monthly Payment Practice Reporting

  • Monthly reporting on accounts aged and any with a debit balance

  • Coach and train less experienced AP team members in better ways of working

  • Review current team structure & responsibilities

  • Review current invoice capture process for different vendor streams

  • Review current payment process with a view to streamline or simplification

  • Design monthly AP compliance, reporting and analysis pack

  • Own process with business and management accounts team

  • Allocation responsibility of specific suppliers across the team

  • Design or Implement standardised supplier statement reconciliation

  • Support the upgrade of AP related infrastructure working with finance systems manager

What you will need to be successful:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role

  • Staff management experience

  • Team player

  • Available at short notice
