Hybrid - Accounts Payable Coordinator - £25,000 to £31,000 - Abingdon

This international business with phenomenal growth and an exciting plan for continued expansion for the next 5 years are seeking to appoint a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team of 6. This role would be great for someone looking for progression and study support.

The role

The AP Coordinator will take responsibility for the following areas:

  • Manage accounting for Credit Cards including control the process for issuing new cards
  • Month end process - on time delivery of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure accuracy of VAT treatment through auditing of AP transactions and month-end reconciliations
  • Deliver an excellent service experience to our suppliers and agents by ensuring all queries are resolved in timely manner
  • Provide training and support to more junior members of the team

What you will need to be successful

  • Demonstrate experience in a similar role, working with multiple locations
  • Good analytical skills and close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, self-management, and relationship management skills
  • Strong organisational/ planning skills and prioritisation ability
  • Ability to research issues and present solutions
  • Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Experience in the use of accounting specific software (E.g. Oracle or SAP)
