Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk - Reading - £20,000 - £25,000 per annum + study support

Opportunity for someone with experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger to join an amazing International business in Reading.

The role

This well-established business are looking for an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small but busy team. Reporting into the Finance Manager duties of the Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

  • Processing high volumes of multinational purchase invoices

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Management of Bank reconciliations

  • Preparation of monthly reports

  • Submission of bi-weekly payroll online

What you'll need to be successful

With experience already gained and having already worked in a similar role you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger or a similar role

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately

  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (competence with v look ups & pivot tables as a minimum)

  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
