Accounts Payable Clerk - Reading - Temp to Perm - £23,000 - £26,000
The company
An impressive business with a real stronghold in their marketplace are looking for someone who has experience within Accounts Payable to join their dynamic and sociable team ASAP.
The role
Working within a large finance team, this role will be responsible for ensuring suppliers invoices are checked, processed, and paid within the terms set as well as:
- Ensuring invoices are approved in time to meet the established payment cycles
- Monthly statement reconciliations
- Forecast payments
- Issuing payments in payment cycles (Weekly and monthly)
- Liaising with Suppliers
- Other ad-Hoc duties
What you’ll need to be successful
The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and the ability to handle a large number of invoices as well as:
- MS Office skills especially Excel (Pivot tables & V-look ups)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Be able to prioritise and keep to deadline
