Accounts Payable Clerk - £28,000 - £30,000 - 3 Month Contract - Southall (remote/office based)

The company

Wade Macdonald are working in partnership with a fantastic organisation based in Southall seeking to appoint an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk. Initially an interim role with a view to be extended in the future.

This is a hybrid working role after training.

The role

Your main responsibilities as an Account Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • Reviewing and processing high volumes of internal and external invoices.
  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries.
  • Preparation of accounting reports.
  • Setting up vendor payments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous Experience in a similar position.
  • Must have advance Excel skills including Pivot table and v-look ups.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team (team spirit).
  • Forward thinking and open to new processes/process improvements.
  • An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing would be an advantage.
