Accounts Assistant - Maidenhead - £23,000 - £26,000 Per Annum + Benefits

Opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join this global business based in Maidenhead. As a business they are passionate about people and strive to offer both a progressive and professional environment.

The role

This fantastic company are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small but busy finance team. This is a great opportunity that will allow you to utilise your previous finance knowledge as well as learn and develop new skills. Reporting into the Finance Director your duties will include:

  • Processing high volumes of EMEA purchase invoices

  • Clearing of purchase ledger mailbox

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Weekly payment runs

  • Assisting with month end closure

  • Cover for credit control team in absence

  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested

What you'll need to be successful

To be successful in this role the ideal person will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role

  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Proficient Excel skills (V look ups & pivot tables)

  • The capability to manage a busy workload

  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
