Accounts & Payroll Associate - Reading - £25,000 - £29,000 per annum
The company
An outstanding business based in Reading, due to a financial restructure this business have an urgent requirement for an Accounts & Payroll Officer to join their small but busy finance team.

The role
This supportive business is looking for an Accounts & Payroll Officer to join their friendly dynamic team. Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the completion of monthly payroll and assisting with the head of finance with accounting tasks. The duties of the Accounts & Payroll Officer will include:

Management and completion of monthly payroll processing
Updating payroll records inclusive of starters and leavers, SSP, OSP and SMP
Management of tax reporting
Liaise and manage relationship with Payroll provider
Uploading of payroll journals
Processing of employee expenses
Assisting Head of Finance with other accounting tasks

What you'll need to be successful
With experience already gained and having already worked in a similar role you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:

Previous experience in Accounts & Payroll
Strong time management skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines
Good communication skills (written & verbal)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v look ups & pivot tables)
A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
