Senior Accountant - Didcot - £55,000 - hybrid working

The Role
Responsibility for a portfolio of clients, which will incorporate a mixture of SME’s and large and complex clients, for who you will be the client lead in managing monthly, quarterly and yearly deliverables and maintaining the client relationship.
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly client consolidated multi-currency management accounts comprising purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, general ledger journal entries, maintenance and review of supporting schedules and reconciling balance sheet items.
- Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including, VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax,P11ds and PSAs.
- Preparation and review of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS102, IFRS, including consolidated and LLP financial statements across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
- Budget variances, forecasting and other ad hoc tasks
- Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
- Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
- Managing and supervising junior staff on a day-to-day basis.
- Training of junior staff to all levels through to Accountant include reviewing and providing feedback on work produced.
