Management Accountant

Management Accountant, Farnborough, Hybrid, £45,000 - £55,000

My client, a well established and growing manufacturing business with an international presence is seeking a management accountant to assist the financial controller with responsibility for accounting and reporting for the UK business.

What will your responsibilities in the role be?

• Manage accounting for the UK business unit, including month-end closing and reporting.
• Handle budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Process commissions accruals and employee expenses.
• Oversee VAT and other statutory filings.
• Conduct stock analysis, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and other finance-related activities.

What experience do you need for the role?

• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
• Post-qualification experience in finance/accounting.
• Results-focused with strong attention to detail and process improvement skills.
• Experience of stock and inventory management would be an advantage.
