Management Accountant - £35k - Thame
The company;
My client, a global player within their industry, based in a picturesque location on the outskirts of Thame requires a management accountant to join their growing finance team.
The role;
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have a broad commercial role with opportunities to grow your skill set and progress. Your duties will include but not be restricted to:
Creating the monthly management accounts
Prepayments, accruals and analysis to deliver accurate and timely accounts.
Management of fixed assets
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Supporting the financial year end process including additional analysis for reporting and taxation
Preparing information for auditors and answering audit queries
Preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports both from the finance system and on Excel
Over time it is expected that your reports will evolve into more focused analysis to ensure team spends and specific cost areas are well controlled and in line with budget
What you'll need to be successful;
AAT qualified or part qualified in CIMA OR ACCA
Experience in a finance team in a similar role
Strong communication skills
Ability to complete a variety of tasks and embrace change
