A great role for a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR professional with a good solid background of working in a generalist role in HR. The organisation is looking for someone who can be flexible and travel across their sites in the South-East region, this won't be excessive travel but you need to be flexible. Its a great role for a down to earth inidvidual with good people skills coupled with good HR skills to join a really interesting business.

The role:

This is a hands on true generalist HR Manager role. Working across the organisations in the group you will deal with:

  • Employee relations issues, management of these and ensuring compliance and support are provided
  • Trade unions – the organisation has people that are part of trade unions and therefore there will be some interaction with trade unions, this will include potential negotiations and meetings with them.
  • Ensuring compliance to relevant governmental guideline and governmental legal requirements
  • Communicating with everyone at every level from maintenance people to the Chief Exec.
  • Responsibility for management of the reception at the sites
  • Recruitment and on boarding
  • HR administration – again given the nature of some of the organisations in the group there is a requirement for information to be collated, and accurately reported.
  • Dealing with potential immigration queries
  • HRIS in place although this is perhaps not being used to full capacity so someone tech savvy would be great who could enhance the use of the system.
  • HR Business Partnering - Supporting key personnel at the sites, management of any issues, queries.
  • Salaries, there are a number of pay structures across the various organisations so these need to be managed, maintained.

They are looking for someone:

  • CIPD level 5 minimum qualified
  • There will be a DBS check so applications can only be considered from people with no criminal convictions.
  • Proactive
  • Numerical – complex pay structures so having good experience in compensation will be a bonus
  • Able to deal with demanding situations and conflict resolution
  • Able to be compassionate and empathetic when dealing with employees undergoing difficult situations.

What will you receive:

A great oppportunity to join an impressive organisation, with a great pension scheme, parking, EAP, 26 days annual leave and other perks and benefits this would be a great role for a proactive individual.
