Head of Finance - £100,000 plus Bonus - Remote Working - Fluent French Speaking
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's most impressive Technology Companies as Head of Finance. The position requires a fluent French speaker and will involve leading a growing finance team who has extensive technical experience and exposure to multiple entities/countries in a group environment.
The Role
• Take ownership of the month-end closing and reporting cycle, ensuring the timely completion of closing activities, reconciliations, and comprehensive reporting and analysis across all ledgers. Adhere to Group timelines and formats for submissions.
• Provide leadership and guidance in technical accounting, fostering relationships with Group technical accounting teams. Serve as an advisor to the group of companies, enhancing internal processes and implementing best practices to improve efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting procedures in alignment with Group policies.
• Train and coach finance teams within the group companies, ensuring their readiness to adhere to financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS.
• Oversee statutory filings for all entities, ensuring accuracy and meeting filing deadlines.
• Maintain accurate tax records for VAT, GST, Income Taxes, and payroll taxes. Collaborate with external advisors when necessary and stay updated with the Group Tax team.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external auditors, guiding the process through to sign-off and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Proactively drive working capital performance by constructing forecasts and implementing strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by providing valuable inputs and conducting thorough analyses.
• Take charge of financial record-keeping, incorporating technological solutions to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with statutory authorities.
