Finance Controller, Slough, Hybrid, £55,000 - £60,000
My client, a subsidiary of a listed group is looking for a responsible and professional financial controller to join the team and work with the UK Finance Director and an acquired subsidiary in Germany. The role will manage the integration process for the newly acquired business, including bringing the finance function in house and move to a monthly reporting and improved control environment.
What will your responsibilities in the role be?
- Manage the financial integration process, ensuring the appropriate reporting and establishing internal controls.
- Bring finance function in house, including building and developing a finance team, serving as a hands-on financial leader.
- Lead the production of accurate local management accounts and financial data in line with IFRS and Group accounting standards.
- Once integration is complete, perform FP&A functions to inform strategic and tactical decisions made by the company.
What experience do you need for the role?
- Ideally a recognised accounting qualification would be desirable, a graduate degree would be preferred but is not essential.
- International finance experience of large multi-national companies, as well as smaller companies in a growth environment.
- Strong German and English Language skills are essential
