Finance Manager, Slough, Hybrid, £60,000 - £65,000

My client, a highly successful business with a global presence is seeking a finance manager to assist the financial controller in running the finance function for a group of companies.

What will your responsibilities in the role be?

  • Assist in monthly financial reporting and meet all corporate deadlines.
  • Focus on specific group functions and assist the wider team as needed.
  • Ensure timely production of balance sheets, cash flow reports, and VAT returns.
  • Manage inter-company relationships and assist in audits.
  • Continuously review and improve internal controls and support ad hoc projects.

What experience do you need for the role?

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Relevant accounting qualification and degree level education.
  • Experience in financial reporting, staff management, and working to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.

What else would add to your application?

  • Experience of stock inventory would be an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP and an advanced user of Excel would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
