Finance Manager – Reading - £40,000 - £45,000 – Hybrid-working - study support

What will be the responsibilities in this role?
You will oversee all accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Preparing internal reporting, including monthly management accounts

Cross departmental collaboration to streamline stock holding and utilise excess inventories

Mentoring a team of accountants to drive excellence

Coordinating external audits and preparing required documentation
-
Maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders

Identifying opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and drive process improvements
What experience do you need?
-
Experience in ERP (Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics NAV) is highly advantageous

People management experience
-
Experience in a similar role ideally within a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
