Finance Business Partner – Reading (Office-Based) – Up to £50,000
This multinational client, based in Reading, are seeking a Finance Business Partner due to continued successes these past few years.
This Finance Business Partner role has been created to ensure that a specific division of the large international can contribute as effectively as possible to the overall success of the organisation. Whilst this Finance Business Partner will work in a small and close-knit team based in the office, and the UK Entity is the focus, the successful candidate will be involved in supporting the filing of the division and company’s international accounts in both Europe and the US.
This opportunity would greatly suit an experienced Management Accountant with some exposure to forecasting, looking to build upon this and their other existing commercial accounting experiences.
Duties include:
- Ensure timely month-end closing and production of management accounts for senior management
- Complete group reports, including commentary, and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage accounts such as accrued revenue and cost accruals
- Develop monthly and weekly cash flow reports
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the customer invoice process
- Oversee cash collection and approve supplier payment runs
- Drive process improvements and manage all planning activities, including budgets and forecasts
- Develop and monitor KPIs
- Provide customer support and guide the pricing team
- Support tenders and commercial proposals as needed
- Establish regulatory compliance procedures and meet reporting deadlines
- Foster strong relationships with local advisors
- Implement corporate social responsibility initiatives at the unit level
Desired Skills:
- Part / Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Reporting experience under US GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experienced user of Finance & Accounting ERPs
- Attention to detail, ability to convert financial analysis into commercial decisions
