Business Intelligence Consultant, Wokingham, circa £70,000 + great benefit package

As the Business Intelligence Consultant, you will be involved in the planning, management, development and implementation of projects to deliver professional BI solutions.

Your day to day work will include:

  • Working with customers to design and implement technical analytic solutions with SQL Server, Power BI and Microsoft Azure technologies

  • Liaising with clients on scoping requirements, design/planning, solution architecture, configuration and deployment

  • Cross checking to identify areas for improvement within existing BI solutions

  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK and occasionally abroad

Essential:

  • Full understanding of the Microsoft BI stack and Microsoft Azure services.

  • Practical scripting knowledge

  • Full understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory

  • Experience of designing and building data warehouses using Kimball Methodology

  • Experience designing and building SSAS Tabular models

  • Technical knowledge of Power BI and DAX

  • Strong experience of creating solution in Azure using services such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Database, Azure Analysis Services, etc.
