Assistant Financial Controller - £42,000 / £45,000 - Reading
An Introduction to the Company and Role:
Wade Macdonald are currently working with a fantastic company who are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the team as an Assistant Financial Controller. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company and the execution of our financial strategy.
What will be the responsibilities in this role?

Oversee daily operations of the Finance Team and provide financial support to senior managers.

Supervise key financial sections and manage, train, and lead the finance team.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings.

Prepare monthly journals, financial statements, and operating reports.

Assist external and statutory auditors as needed.
What experience do you need?

A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.

Over 3 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations.

Experience with financial software such as Dynamic
