Accounts Receivable Manager - Reading (Hybrid) - £38000 - £45000

Our client are an exciting and rapidly growing technology company, currently at SME size, based in Reading, that are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to take ownership of the Receivables and Billing function.

This Accounts Receivable Manager will be solely responsible for managing the end-to-end Receivables process, ensuring prompt billing, accurate management of the ledger, and that payment is secured promptly when order has been fulfilled.

As Accounts Receivable Manager you will:

  • Oversee and monitor the end-to-end finance processes (payments, refunds, credit notes, invoicing)
  • Ensure policies and standards relating to accounts receivable and revenue activities are adhered to

  • Maintain robust controls around end-to-end processes

  • Continually maintain an accurate sales ledger

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

  • With colleagues in the function, manage the shared Accounts inbox

  • Support the team to continually improve processes and automate as much as possible over time

To be the successful applicant you will:

  • Ideally Bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, demonstrating career progression throughout that time
  • Largely have gained your experience to date in an SME environment
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to make useful changes to receivables processes, increasing efficiency
  • Be excited to take ownership of the function and progress with the company as they grow
  • Have a notice period no longer than 1 month - 6 weeks ideally
