My client is a global business based in High Wycombe with offices in London and New York. They are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable and Sales Ledger Billing specialist to join their small Finance team on a permanent basis
This is an exciting time to join the business as they are experiencing rapid growth.
The role would suit an experienced candidate who is used to a high level of ownership and responsibility in a small business and supporting a Financial Controller, overseeing the receivable and billing side of the Sales Ledger.
This is an intrinsic role within the Finance function and you will be recognised and rewarded for hard work and positive results.
Full Sales Ledger Credit Control and Administration responsibility.
Ensuring that debts are paid on time, communicating via telephone, email and post
Ensuring that payments and in-coming cash is banked and allocated accurately
Billing, invoice, WIP, estimates and job management
Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and efficiently
Query investigation and resolution with Project Managers
Customer account maintenance
Assisting with and providing data for month-end and ad-hoc reporting
Proven experience within Accounts Receivable and Transactional Finance.
Measurable and demonstrable track record of managing a Sales ledger and Billing processes
Reconciliation specialist - utilising bank, cash and Sales Ledger.
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors.
Team Player who is happy to work within a small Finance Team and assist during busy periods.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excel skills (i.e. Ledger production, Vlookup, cash flow forecast, banking), Sage systems experience.
