I'm currently working with a Payroll Manager who is in a contracted FTC role and seeking to secure a permanent position. Strong end to end payroll experience, they are a qualified book-keeping and senior payroll officer with advanced Excel skills. Experience in compliance, change management, staff mentoring and training. 4 week notice period.
Current responsibilities include:
Responsibility for developing and managing bonus system, targets, process, calculation, dealing with queries for more than 350 staff in the UK.
Managing weekly and monthly payroll working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Dealing with complex payroll queries.
Training new finance staff members in the use of the system and payroll process.
Payroll system update with new payments rules, creating new work patterns.
Manual payment requests.
Check for exemptions and correct any errors.
Run wage variance/recharge reports.
Balance recharge/wage variance.
