Assistant Financial Accountant - £35,000

I’m currently representing a well-rounded and experienced Assistant Financial Accountant in the Basingstoke area, who is looking for a step up into a new and more challenging role. 1 Months' notice.

Skills include:

• Preparing and completing management accounting month end tasks in different business areas

• Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, reallocations, and cross charges 

• Investigating and clearing discrepancies between goods receipts and invoice receipts in the GR/IR clearing account 

• Carrying out Cost/Income analysis 

• Analysing actual against budget/quarterly forecast variances and providing commentaries for financial reporting meetings and to deliver insight to the business 

• Communicating with external Suppliers and supporting the Finance Business Partners 

• Producing management reports (cash flow reporting on the MTD and YTD EBITDA/profit and loss reports) 

• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations 

• Responsible for designated Cost/Profit Centres 

• Performing financial control 

• Improving processes and maintaining process notes
