This candidate is an accomplished and detail-oriented individual, with experience of providing quantitative analysis, accounting, forecasting, and budgeting with proven record of success in consolidating and reporting sales and product data and reviewing and analysing corporate financial statements to develop product and sales analysis reports.
They have had experience with the following:
Assessing and calculating redundancy cost along with a review of concurring and manual expense claims
Creating multi-currencies P&L report analyses for audit purposes on a monthly and yearly basis
Conducting local currency trail balance analysis
Preparation of monthly fixed asset report for US team
Budgeting and forecasting
Reviewing the monthly financial management report
Creating and posting month-end journals, such as EMEA Corporate expenses costs, accruals, reclass, and inter-company journals
Supervising monthly UK Corporate expenses costs and allocating costs to correct cost centre
Running of monthly information packs, to ensure all journals have been posted
Analysis of budgets versus costs, and presented variances
Reviewed monthly trail balance, conducted audits and checks
Created statutory reports
Budget reports, coded invoices and journals in the system, and managed P&L
Balance sheet reconciliations, calculated bonus accruals, and prepayments
Directed payroll and pension reconciliations as well as inspected invoices under threshold amount
This finance professional has a good knowledge of various accounting platforms (SAP, SAGE & Oracle) alongside a proficient level of Microsoft Excel (V lookups & pivot tables).
