About The Job

This role is a 9-12 month maternity cover fixed term contract. As a senior payroll administrator, you will be an integral part to a team of 5 members. You will be responsible for ensuring weekly and monthly client payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner, whilst liaising with clients and HMRC regarding payroll queries. Alongside this, you will be responsible for ensuring timely RTI filings as well as making sure Auto Enrolment processes are timely and accurate.

Candidate Requirements

Prior experience of working within a busy payroll department is essential, as well as possessing statutory payroll legislation and Auto Enrolment knowledge. Candidates must have strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. It is preferred for candidates to hold proficiency in STAR Professional Payroll knowledge, however this is not essential. Candidates are expected to have excellent communication skills, both on the telephone and in person.
