Purchase Ledger Clerk - Permanent - Newbury - £ 24000 Per Annum + Benefits

My fantastic client, a global tech company in Newbury, are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join their fast paced, busy team. My key client is going through an exciting period of growth, and as a result is seeking high calibre individuals to join their team.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, your duties would include:

  • Review, code and record a high volume of supplier invoices

  • Produce monthly supplier statement and weekly bank reconciliations

  • Handle invoice questions and queries in a fast and efficient manner

  • Generate PO numbers within an agreed time frame

  • Processing of BACS and CHAPS payments

  • Handle any ad-hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Proficient Accounting systems experience

  • Intermediate Excel skills with strong knowledge of V look ups and Pivot tables

  • Be a team player with strong communication and numerical skills

  • Show determination with a good work ethic
