Payroll Specialist

Uxbridge, hybrid working available upon completion of probation

£35,000 - £40,000pa

The company

An industry leader and internationally recognised brand within their sector, I'm partnering with a very reputable business who are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their busy and thriving team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent payroll experience to include a strong knowledge of payroll legislation and manual calculations.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working alongside a fantastic team, duties will include:

  • Full end-to-end processing for a high volume of weekly payrolls

  • Manual SMP + SSP calculations

  • Maintain a variety of pension schemes

  • Query resolution via email and phone

  • Reconciliations of P11ds alongside HMRC query resolution

  • Monthly payroll reporting and Tax year end tasks

  • Transitioning of any TUPE transfers, with a view of having no payroll issues

  • Ensure timely completion of all nominal ledger reconciliations relating to payroll

  • What you will need to be succeed

  • Excllent payroll experience

  • Fantastic interpersonal skills

  • Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation

  • The ability to manually calculate SMP+SSP+NI Deductions according to thresholds

  • Strong IT Literacy
