Payroll & Pensions Administrator (6-Month FTC) - £28,000 - Amersham

Wade Macdonald are delighted to offer a dynamic Payroll Administrator role on a contract basis in the Amersham area, paying up to £28,000 for the ideal candidate. The role is based within the healthcare sector in a modern office, with excellent road and rail links.

About The Role

The primary focus of this role will be to assist the Payroll Manager with the day-to-day function of payroll processing. You will be the first point of contact for all pay related queries, as well as processing the payroll accurately and on time.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing function

  • Investigating and resolving payroll related issues

  • Acting as the first point of contact within the payroll department

  • Accurately filing of all supporting documentation

  • Update and maintain payroll reports alongside the Payroll Manager

  • Comparison of payroll against previous months

  • Providing overall support to the Payroll Manager as required to ensure the smooth running of the payroll department within the business

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess experience in payroll administration

  • Possess experience of working within a customer focused finance department

  • Have knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Hold experience of accurate data processing

  • Sit at the level of Payroll Technician, through a combination of experience and education

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience in pensions administration

  • Use of the SelectPay system
