My client is a growing technology business based in Bracknell. They are currently seeking a Sole Charge Sales Ledger or Credit Control specialist to join their team on a permanent, Part Time basis (25-30 hours per week).
My client is offering a great deal of flexibility around working hours, start and end times with allowance for school runs and preferred working days.
The role would suit an experienced candidate who is used to a high level of ownership and responsibility in a small business and supporting a Finance Director, overseeing the receivable and billing side of the Sales Ledger.
This is an intrinsic role within the Finance function and you will be recognised and rewarded for hard work and positive results.
Working within timeline-based, projects and service contracts
Full Sales Ledger Credit Control and Administration responsibility.
Ensuring that debts are paid on time, communicating via telephone, email and post
Ensuring that payments and in-coming cash is banked and allocated accurately
Billing, invoice, WIP, estimates and job management
Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and efficiently
Query investigation and resolution
Customer account maintenance
Working with internal teams and field based engineers
Assisting with and providing data for month-end and ad-hoc reporting
Proven experience as a Credit Controller +3 years.
Measurable and demonstrable track record of managing a Sales ledger in a sole charge capacity.
Reconciliation specialist - utilising bank, cash and Sales Ledger.
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors.
Team Player who is happy to work within a small Finance Team and assist during busy periods.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excel skills (Credit Control relevant i.e. Ledger production, Vlookup, cash flow forecast, banking), Quickbooks experience.
