Newly Qualified Accountant - London SE1 - £50 / 55,000 plus benefits

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen (due to expansion) for an innovative Newly Qualified Accountant to work alongside the Chief Accountant. The successful applicant will play an important role in the reporting function for the corporation's diverse portfolio. The working environment is one of continuous change and improvement with a new CRM system soon to be implemented.

Responsibilities will include the production of a complex set of management accounts for presentation to the Board including dashboards and commentary, producing ad-hoc reports for the executive team and stakeholders and assist in the building of new models and reporting tools. The role will also entail analysis of revenue returns and also assist in driving forward new innovative business processes.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified (ideally with first time passes)

  • General financial and / or management accounting experience

  • Able to organise your own time and meet deadlines

  • Computer literate and have the desire to acquire more IT skills including the developing of financial models

  • The ability to comprehend complex concepts and processes
