As Lead Data Scientist, you will be the figure head in a technical department where you will identify and implement ideas that will make the companies online work a great experience for thousands of colleagues all over the world, Staring with a through understanding of how the company operates you will need to meet project deadlines while always keeping the highest of working standards.

For Data this means gathering, extraction, transformation, exploration; analysis, inferencing, causality; predictions, forecasts, and warnings;

This will also mean deploying production ready models; scaling up deployments; incorporating analytics into products; monitoring and optimizing analytic products.

The role is varied and you will be immersed in all aspects of work..

While keeping abreast of advancements in Machine Learning and AI, you will also need to be involved in growing the team.

As the ideal candidate you will have experience and abilities in:

Be qualified to degree level

Strong theory/algorithm background

Wworking with large amounts of real data.

Significant experience in the use of Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Mining and Signal Processing in data analysis and decision making.

Substantial experience with the use of relational databases for data storage and analysis.

The ability to work proactively under own initiative and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Excellent programming and technical skills (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, C++, C#, Java, SQL).

Fluent in the core Big Data tools/technologies (Hadoop, Hbase, Storm, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Pig).

Analyse large, complex datasets to reveal underlying patterns, correlations and trends.

Responsible for build, testing and validation of statistical models to answer targeted business questions and design cutting edge algorithms and data solutions and deliver rapid prototypes.

You will design, set-up and conduct large-scale tests for hypotheses and drive product development and contribute to plans for scaling up machine learning and data solutions.

You will lead by lead and coach other Scientists, Analysts and Data Engineers.

As the successful candidate you will receive a salary based on your experience of up to £100,000 along with an excellent benefits package.
