HR Business Partner - up to £45,000 - Hayes

Wade Macdonald are working with an international company who is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their HR department. As a HR Business Partner you will be the first point of contact for line managers and employees, looking after the daily operations and employee relations, while monitoring compliance with current HR policies and procedures.

  • Assists the Head of HR with the roll out of projects and initiatives across both the commercial and the technical business divisions, in compliance with relevant law and standards of best practice

  • Advises staff and managers on grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence management, occupational health matters, flexible working requests and other staff matters (such as maternity or paternity leave, implementing HR policies and procedures consistently and ensuring compliance with employment legislation

  • Look after the whole employee life-cycle, from the on boarding to the Exit Interview

  • Coaches and builds the capability of senior managers to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues

  • Suggests changes and improvements of the HR operations and of company policies and procedures

  • May occasionally be involved in recruitment to support the Talent Acquisition Partner

  • Undertakes any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time by the Head of HR

  • The HRBP is responsible for ensuring personal development, adherence to the recognised standards of the CIPD and keeping up to date with HR legislation and good practice.

To be considered for this role you will ideally be CIPD qualified (Level 5 or 7). You will have experience as a HR Business Partner. Solid knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidelines and HR best practice (extensive working practice applying these standards) and experience in drafting policies, procedures and service level agreements. Excellent oral and written English, any other European additional language is a plus
