HR Administrator - Reading (Travel will be required)- Competitive salary

Wade Macdonald have an exciting new role for a strong and dedicated HR Administrator to join a large HR team in Reading. As a HR Administrator you will be the first point of contact for employees for all day to day general HR enquiries and providing guidance to employees and line managers.

The role

  • Working closely with the wider HR team you will provide general HR administration

  • Conduct induction meetings with new starters and exit interviews with leavers

  • Liaise with payroll and the central HR team to ensure that a quality HR service is delivered

  • Conduct probation review meetings as required.

  • To monitor sickness absence notifications and conduct return to work interviews as required and conduct maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption meetings in accordance with the company's policies and following this up with the appropriate correspondence.

  • Involvement and exposure to ER issues including minute taking and writing up notes and Involvement in salary review and salary benchmarking projects.

  • Being involved in the recruitment process such as interviewing and working with the internal recruitment team regarding vacancies.

  • Be a point of contact for universities and schools in terms of developing a pipeline of candidates for our Graduate, School leaver and Placement vacancies.

  • Organising, coordinating and presenting at school and university events including the development of current initiatives.

  • Coordinate the Assessment Centres across the different sites for the business graduate and school leaver vacancies.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous HR experience

  • Degree educated or CIPD level 3 (Diploma) qualified

  • Interested in progressing career in HR

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Previous experience of working in a professional office environment
