About the Role
In this Finance Analyst position, you will support multiple business units by providing vital financial insights and managing key financial processes. Core responsibilities include managing work-in-progress (WIP) accounts, overseeing expense control, and supporting revenue and cost forecasting.
Duties will include:
- Managing WIP accounts on the Balance Sheet, ensuring entries are accurate and reflect financial status
- Providing financial support for revenue recognition and journal processing
- Leading the forecasting process for administrative expenses, with trend analysis and model maintenance
- Executing month-end closing tasks and preparing detailed reports for management
- Managing project lifecycle costs and revenues, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Conducting regular inventory analyses to optimise cost management
- Driving the annual budgeting process, from planning and model development to presenting insights to management
About You
The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial planning and control, with strengths in budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP is essential, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for collaborating effectively with non-financial teams.
