Data Insights Analyst - Reading

The company

I am currently representing a Blue Chip Organisation that deals with large and varied data sets in the utilities sector. They are looking for a Data analyst to provide accurate insights by combining predictive analytics and marketing campaigns to improve their outputs across multiple functions within the business. This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest companies in the South East, tackling interesting problems that will make a difference to thousands of customers throughout the country.

The role

  • Providing in-depth analysis on consumer product use and improving customer satisfaction

  • Extract, analyse and visualise data in order to create accurate reports for stakeholders

  • Implement business and process improvements through statistical and prescriptive analytics

  • Make use of advanced predictive analytics to solve business cases

What you'll need to be successful

  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or a similar quantitative field

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Proficient in PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau or a similar visualisation tool

  • Knowledge of CRM software such as SalesForce

  • Knowledge of at least one object orientated programming language (ideally Python with experience of libraries such as Scikitlearn)
