This exciting Credit Control vacancy is based in modern offices at my Client's European HQ in Basingstoke. They are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on a Permanent basis. Alternatively the client is also willing to offer candidates a temp to perm option.

You will be working within a diverse Global Finance Function and be responsible for Collections, Credit Control, billing and query resolution within complex European markets.

You will be required to build relationships both internally within the business and with external and cross-border stakeholders, so building relationships as part of the collections process is key.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the credit control processes for a section of the Sales Ledger

  • Managing the timely collection of all debts in accordance with agreed Credit/Payment terms via telephone and email

  • Dealing with complex billing queries or disputes

  • Ensure that cash management processes and billing tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Reviewing and processing Credit applications

  • Ensure robust and accurate credit limit setting and review for new and existing customers

  • Reconciling accounts and outstanding debt for reporting purposes

  • Sales Order review, printing and matching

  • Receivables Cash management and allocation via Credit Card, BACS, Cheque

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller

  • Sage systems knowledge

  • Confident, versatile telephone manner

  • Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with diverse workflows

  • Team Player who is happy to work within a Team and add value during busy periods

  • Business partner who builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong Excel skills within Credit Control
