About the Job
This is a temporary, part-time opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to support the finance team during a busy period. The role focuses on managing outstanding accounts, maintaining strong client relationships, and helping to ensure timely payment of invoices while supporting wider finance processes.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring outstanding customer balances and maintaining accurate records
- Contacting customers by phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
- Investigating and resolving invoice queries efficiently
- Producing reports on aged debt and payment trends
- Working closely with the finance team to support cash flow management
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have previous credit control or accounts receivable experience and be comfortable communicating with customers to resolve outstanding balances. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using finance systems or spreadsheets are important. The successful individual will be proactive, reliable, and able to manage their workload effectively within a part-time schedule.
