About the Job
This role will involve managing credit control processes within the construction industry. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial efficiency and ensuring the smooth processing of payments.
Duties will include:
- Contacting customers regarding overdue payments via phone and email
- Preparing and processing payment applications for submission
- Maintaining a detailed spreadsheet tracking issued applications, outstanding certificates, and payments
- Setting up new projects on Construct
- Assisting the Finance Director with various administrative tasks
- Preparing and monitoring the debtors report, detailing all outstanding payments
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in credit control within the construction industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage professionally with clients. Proficiency in Sage, Construct, and Excel is essential.
