This exciting Credit Control opportunity is based in modern offices at my Client's UK HQ in Bracknell. They are currently seeking a number of high calibre, Financial Services focused collections specialists to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fast paced and target-driven collections role, where previous experience in Leasing and Asset Finance is key, in order to ensure that you help customers to pay on time - with a focus on customer service.
You will be working within a diverse range of clients, handling a variety of cases with full responsibility for collections and securing payment of overdue invoices.
You will be required to build relationships both internally and externally, to work well within a new team and to maximise cash flow by engaging effectively with customers, stakeholders and debtors.

Regular and target driven contact with customers by telephone, e-mail and letter
Negotiate payment plans and secure commitment to paying overdue invoices
Handling both inbound and outbound Customer enquiries
Review, monitor and report on late payments
Refer applicable customer payment proposals to management with recommendations
Liaise with external asset recovery agents to best assist in the recovery of funds or equipment
Logging accurate and comprehensive notes within the call log system
Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act, Money Laundering Act, Data Protection Act and the FLA
Assist with Cash allocations and associated reports
Experience in Asset Finance or vendor programs is highly desirable
Minimum 1-2 years experience in Credit & Collections
Strong Sales Ledger analysis and reconciliation skills
Confident and versatile telephone manner with advanced negotiation skills.
Outgoing and engaging personality, and the ability to work with a diverse portfolio of debtors.
Pro-active approach to collections and developing rapport with debtors.
Team Player who is happy to work within a team and add value during busy periods.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong Excel skills - Vlookup, ledger production, statement production and ad-hoc reporting.
