This exciting Credit Analyst vacancy is based in modern offices at my Client's European HQ in Oxford. They are currently seeking a high calibre, talented, German ( Deutsche ) speaking Senior Credit Controller or Credit Risk Analyst to join their team on a Permanent basis.
You will be working within a diverse EMEA Finance Function and be responsible for Analysing Collections performance within complex European markets. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong track record in Export Credit Risk, Credit Underwriting, Collections and Credit Analysis.
You will be required to build relationships both internally within the business and with external and cross-border stakeholders, supporting a UK-based Team of Credit Underwriters.
Analysis of Collections Performance
Processing and security vetting of Letters of Credit
Maintaining and reporting on overdue items in line with agreed targets
Identification and escalation of high risk cases.
Inventory and Stock analysis
Customer Master Data maintenance
Market KPI analysis and reporting on Past Due Performance, Legal Instrument Analysis, Credit Limit Sign Off
Cash processing and allocation including Bank Reconciliations and Direct debits
Proven experience as a Credit Risk Analyst +2 years
Fluent in German
Knowledge of European Credit Underwriting
SAP systems knowledge
Confident, versatile telephone manner with exceptional presentation and reporting skills
Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with diverse workflows
Business partner who naturally builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Team Player who is happy to work within a diverse Team and add value during busy periods
Strong Excel skills
