Credit Administrator - 4 week assignment - immediate start £10-£12 per hour

My client is a long-established FMCG company based near junction 12 of the M4, Reading. They are currently seeking an Administrator to join their expending team on a temporary basis.

Duties include:

  • Providing Administrative support to the Credit Control Team

  • Full Sales Ledger administration and maintenance

  • Billing and electronic invoice management

  • Client online portal management - uploading Sales Ledger invoices

  • Distribution of invoices and credit notes daily (rota basis) to Team

  • Print and distribution of Customer statements monthly to Team

  • Monitoring multiple email inboxes

  • Monitoring stop processes and held orders in the system

  • Generating Direct Debit runs

  • Assisting the Credit Control Team with invoicing issues and query resolution

  • Customer account maintenance

  • Ad-hoc Billing and A/R tasks as required

The Candidate:

  • An understanding of how Finance receivable & payable functions work

  • Credit Control experience is not essential - as full training will be given.

  • Must be well organised and flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines and KPI's

  • A good understanding of Excel spreadsheets and recording/reconciling large volumes of data

  • Outgoing, engaging personality and the ability to work with speed and accuracy

  • A drive and ambition for continuous personal improvement

  • Consistently delivering the highest levels of performance

  • Building strong relationships with internal and external business unit Managers

  • Sage systems experience is desirable but not essential

  • Strong Excel Skills are a pre-requisite; you must be able to deal with large volumes of data and perform Vlookups with confidence.
