About the Job
Join a dedicated team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will be crucial in ensuring the timely payment of invoices related to property management. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date records, managing payment systems, and supporting the property team with debt reporting and collection. You will ensure that accounts are reconciled accurately and that financial operations run smoothly.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving and recording invoices and managing them through the payment system.
  • Processing and driving approvals to ensure payments are accurate and timely.
  • Requesting and reconciling statements from contractors and businesses.
  • Handling queries from suppliers, contractors, and colleagues regarding accounts payable.
  • Managing the accounts payable aspect of the payment system for accurate invoice coding and approval.
  • Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
  • Actively managing debtor balances and supporting the property team in debt collection.
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets for financial reporting.

About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, coupled with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. You should be able to prioritise tasks efficiently and perform well under pressure, both independently and within a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, and an AAT qualification is desirable.
