Accounts Payable Clerk - £25,000- £27,000 - Central Reading

The company

A fantastic well-established business based in the heart of Reading. Due to a rapid period of growth this fantastic business are looking for an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team.

The role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Manager this role will include:

  • Accurate processing of purchase / accounts payable invoices

  • Management of company payment runs

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries via telephone & email

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Management of Bank reconciliations

  • Assisting with month end and year end close

What you'll need to be successful

With experience already gained and having already worked in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:

  • Good communication skills

  • Good Excel skills

  • Hands on experience in accounts payable / purchase ledger

  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
