Accounts Assistant - £23,000 - £25,000 per annum - Farnborough

A well established and successful organisation based in Farnborough, Hampshire with an international reach and some exciting growth plans for the future.

The role

Due to a rapid period of growth, this fantastic business are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small but busy team. The duties of the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Resolution of internal and external supplier queries
  • Reconciliation of overdue accounts
  • Management of staff expenses including credit card reconciliations
  • Processing of 2 Payrolls inclusive of p45's and p60's
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Responsibility of the Credit Control function
  • Covering of purchase ledger function when required
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties as required by your Financial Controller

What you'll need to be successful

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will need:

  • Previous experience within a similar finance role
  • Hands on experience in credit control
  • A strong knowledge of Accounting platforms (ideally Sage)
  • Competent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A firm understanding of Microsoft Excel (V look ups & Pivot Tables)
