Business Manager - Senior Finance

Miles joined Wade Macdonald in 2017, focusing on the Senior Finance market.

Having spent 20 years in the market before arriving with us, he almost does not need an introduction as he is so well known in the local market!

Miles prides himself on delivering high quality, specialised staffing solutions. He is flexible in his approach and offers as personal a service as you could find! In fact, his main reason for moving to Wade Macdonald was that he felt he could offer a more personal and tailored service to his candidates and clients, than he could in his former ‘corporate world’. He believes in giving an honest and consultative service drawing on his years of experience in the local recruitment market.

Having initially joined Wade Macdonald to focus on all commercial qualified roles, Miles has developed a team to focus on newly qualified roles and moved himself into the Senior Appointments market. He has since made a number of high profile placements both within the SME market and with Blue Chip organisations.

Outside of work, Miles is well known within Berkshire for the community work he carries out, particularly within swimming clubs (having at one point gained the GB qualifying time himself!). It cant be long before that MBE comes along!

Well, I have to tell this like a story as it truly was. Out of the blue my phone rang and at the other end was a warm and inviting voice greeting me and letting me know that my CV has been floating over the Internet and he wants to get in first. That was the lovely voice of Miles, my newly appointed Consultant. Over the next few days we got into real discussions regarding a role which he thought was 💯% fitted for my calibre. I can be fussy and tend to hold out for the right position that suits me and Miles make sure that the role was definitely my fit. An interview was set up within two days which Miles prepped me for and another two days I was invited for a second interview. Within a week I was offered the position and I have now completed my first week with a fantastic company which is on a global scale. I have met so many interesting people from London to Australia and beyond. This wonderful journey only began due to the time and effort Miles had put into getting to know me and placing me in the right role that suits my profile. Professionalism and easy to talk to made all the difference and Miles put me at ease - it was simply a matter of talking to an old friend.
