Fern’s interest in HR was fuelled by the completion of her degree in Human Resources Management. Since her degree, she has had over two years of experience with hands-on recruitment and management. Fern has always found great pleasure in personal reward and enjoys working with people.
Since joining WM, Fern has been specialising in permanent HR contracts in the South-West region of the Thames Valley; West Berkshire and Hampshire. Fern believes building strong relationships is key to success and this can only be done by taking a friendly, pro-active and resilient approach to consultancy where trust, respect and communication are the characteristics that will drive all relationships forward.
Why do you love/ what attracted you to work for WM?
I decided to work for WM because out of all places I have ever been to, I felt I wasn’t just a number or just a potential employee, but rather was really wanted for my personality, skills and the potential the business saw in me. Straight away I was able to develop a personal and honest relationship with the team which is cultivated by the same values that I apply on my professional approach. The atmosphere is friendly and familiar, and as a business they are well established and possess great reputation. Covering a smaller area rather than nationwide allows me to build more personal and stronger relationships with clients whilst developing my current knowledge of the local market on a daily basis.
