The Brief
The Billings and Collections Manager of a US Owned Shared Service Centre approached Wade Macdonald to assist with the recruitment of a Credit Controller with language skills. The role was urgent, needing to be recruited to within a week; the initial assignment was for a period of three months to help with aged debt and the language requirements was a necessity to ensure that the individual would be able to liaise with their relevant country partner.
The Process
Zoe Jones took the brief for the role over the phone. A meeting was attended to gain a better understand the role and also the culture of the business. CV’s were presented at the meeting and Zoe was able to talk through the candidate’s experiences along with providing the client an insight into the candidate’s personality’s and her assessment of who would best fit the team.
The Result
The client was so happy that an offer was made to the candidate immediately after the first interview. The initial 3-month assignment was then extended for a further 3 months, subsequent to which they were offered a permanent role.
The client was so impressed with Zoe’s service that it has now led to her having 4 more temporary staff working in the business as they focus on improving their cash flow. Given this relationship, the business are now happy to now consider recommendations and working interviews with Zoe’s candidates.
