Senior HR Business Partner - UK & Ireland - Based in Slough

£60,000 - £65,000 + Cash Allowance & Excellent Extensive Benefits

The Senior HR BP will partner with UK Marketing, IS, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Consumer Relations functions as well as Ireland on all aspects of the HR agenda (recruitment, training & development, talent and succession planning, employee relations, employee engagement). The UK commercial business is a dynamic, fast paced and pressurised environment, and a key contributor to the global talent pool. The position is responsible for providing advice, coaching and operational support to functional directors on all aspects of HR delivery - particularly talent development, engagement and people management activities. The position is also responsible for leading key areas of the HR agenda for the Ireland business employee engagement.

Key Features:

  • Business partnership, acting as a strong and challenging partner to ensure effective delivery of the HR agenda.

  • Providing coaching and direction on all people management and development for all line managers within the functions.

  • Management of talent development activities including preparation and facilitation of the talent review process for middle management.

  • Co-ordinating training needs analysis and training plans for the respective functions.

  • Champion of employee engagement, partnering with the HR Director and the leadership team to assess and develop effective plans to drive employee engagement.

  • Facilitating the annual performance review process and providing communication and training support to line management and employees.

  • Facilitates annual salary review for functions.

The ideal candidate will have a good university degree and a minimum of 4 to 5 year's experience in HR in a fast-moving environment with a strong emphasis on talent development, ideally gained in an FMCG/Retail environment.

You will be a confident communicator who is able to deliver clear messages, be creative, energetic, robust and motivated to be on an upward career path within a pressurised, fast paced global business. There will also be future opportunities to work on an international basis.
